Boycotting Chinese Apps Is Not The Only Solution

#boycottchineseproducts has been trending and some people just can't be controlled. It's sad to see how Indians think appreciating India and looking at the good side of India all the time is nationalism. We all know there are sectors in India which struggle to grow, why? Because of funding’s, demand etc. how many of you support start-ups ? Or buy Indian products? Exactly.

China can't retaliate because there is not much Indian app which is worthy of being downloaded in China which says that Chinese people don't use Indian apps ( I know China is a communist country and don't use any foreign apps ) but think about it how many Indian apps have a global market ? How many people use Flipkart over Amazon? There is a reason why Flipkart is incurring loss. We as citizens are also to be blamed. If we had supported Indian products we wouldn't have to invest in other markets stop acting like you are a nationalist now.

I appreciate the concept of boycotting China and encouraging Indian products but it won't happen overnight if you think boycotting Chinese products overnight will help India then you are wrong, Indian economy will suffer and that is the truth, this process should happen slowly it can take even years. Not to mention China's tech company and VC (Venture Capitalist) investments in India account for more than $3.6 billion.

Coming back to the apps, I totally encourage people to boycott Chinese apps provided you have an alternative app which is as efficient as those apps until we find an alternative to some useful apps please stay calm. India has apps made in India but if you know China invests in these app companies so if Chinese investors pull out one can only imagine the loss incurred.

Also to everyone who talk about tiktok all the time, is it the only thing you can use to back up your argument against China? Why does everything come to tiktok? tiktok was not marketed as a useful app so it doesn't matter if it gets banned it is obviously not a very useful app, stop using tiktok to back up every argument of yours. We all know tiktok is not a good app (at least according to me) so stop.

#boycottchina is not just a trend it's a huge problem and somewhere we as citizens are also responsible for it, it's our demand which has lead to India having to invest in markets why would India even invest billions of dollars if there was no demand for those products ? Majority Indians belong to the middle class so when given a choice between buying the same product for lesser price (Chinese products) or for the price quoted in Indian market they would obviously choose to buy products for lesser price " Made in India " or "Made in China" wont be the conflict at that time.

Accepting the flaws in our country won't make me or anyone an antinationalist , yes there are good apps but there is a long way to go. Why do people go abroad to study ? Or to work ? Why do people choose NASA over ISRO ? Think . There are flaws in India and pointing it out doesn't make anyone an antinationalist . Stop being delusional and think realistically.

Also the last time I checked India is a democratic country and everyone can have an opinion , you are no one to validate someone's nationalism.

Conclusion : Should India boycott Chinese products ? Yes but not overnight India has the potential to even be a superpower but nothing can grow if you overlook the flaws or have unrealistic expectations both in life and in the economy. Start supporting Indian products and investing more towards Indian startups and one day India would be independent .
