Windows 11: Should You Upgrade? Here's What's New

Microsoft's Windows 11 is finally out

Microsoft’s latest variant of the Windows NT OS is here, it’s called Windows 11. Although Microsoft promised nothing new shall come after Windows 10, Windows 11 leaked a week ago. It was officially announced yesterday. New features, better performance, smooth and fluid animations. Granted, it will be better and greater than Windows 10.

What's new?

The favourite to many but also hated by many, Windows Start menu doesn’t exist anymore. Windows 11 shall contain a MacOS feeling search menu, with desktop icons right under the search menu. Of course, the task bar remains pretty much identical.

  • Microsoft Edge, as usual, will be new and improved. Better compatibility and RAM management with the OS, faster processing and more.

  • Easier work around with multiple screens.

  • Faster data management, boot times, better data security.

  • Better personalization options.

  • Smaller Windows updates.

  • Background apps capped to make sure you get enhanced performance.

  • Up to 40% better performance on most applications, implying lesser stutters and more RAM available.

  • Widgets support.

  • Touch and gesture more optimized.

  • Better gaming with Xbox for Windows 11.

  • Support for Android apps, not many but still a big enough amount.

Was Windows 11 really leaked?

Windows 11 was found leaked all over the internet. Multiple links available to download and try out the new OS. Although the obtained version of Windows 11 is still in Alpha, it seems to be a great first look.

The leaked Windows 11, when tried to install, showed an error “Hardware not supported”. Obviously, a security system by the Microsoft developers to make sure the leaks don’t get installed, but that did not stop the people. Techies installed Windows 11 on virtual machines and tested the OS out. The leaked version seemed to be severely bugged, but did a good job of showing what the new OS will be like.

These are the obtained leaked images. It looks really clean, as you can see. The people will prefer Windows 11 over Windows 10 and we are willing to bet that.

Some tech savvy people found ways to run Windows 11 without even a virtual machine(VM) which was quite the achievement.

Conclusion

Is Windows 11 worth the wait ??

As far as we have seen, it’s a big yes. Windows 11 will be worth wait and the hype. Windows 10 has been proven to be a worthy opponent to all its rivals. Linux, Ubuntu Linux, MacOS, even Raspberry Pi. Windows 11 will be a great option for graphic development, content creation, gaming and different work loads and work environments. In the field of gaming, Windows has become the Godly OS that is the only one that supports every single eSport out there. From Rocket League to Valorant, it’s just Windows 10. It will always remain, Windows 10.
